課程概述

This course provides a basic survey of methods used to measure the atmospheric environment and specifically atmospheric pollution and chemistry. Students will learn about standard sampling and measurement techniques to capture and characterize the components of the atmosphere. There will be a focus on applications in atmospheric chemistry so that students will have a practical knowledge of the best analysis option for each air pollution investigation. The format of the class will include two hours of lecture and one hour of video demonstrations and laboratory visits (where possible).

Students will build a foundation for when to apply particular sampling and analysis methodologies for use in various atmospheric chemistry investigations.
